INDEPENDENCE

This past spring, Kimberley Alpine Resort in Kimberley, B.C. welcomed the Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) Annual Ski & Snowboard Festival. While visiting the charming and family-focused ski resort—which receives an average of 13 feet of annual snowfall and offers small town charm mixed with a real mountain experience—filmmaker Aidan Croskrey met up with Ontario Para-Alpine Ski Team member Jessica McPhee during the event. In this short but sweet edit, McPhee shares her inspiring story of becoming a sit-skier, and how she rediscovered the feeling of freedom that comes with sliding down snow.
